Summer and Spring Photo Dump

June 29th, 2006 · Comments

Between the new job and the new bike, I haven’t posted many photos lately. Dallas and Suzanne bugged me enough about the lack of photo updates, so I spent the last few days going through hundreds of photos to process (Thanks Bibble Labs!) and pick the best ones (Thanks Aperture). My favorites are definitely the baby photos and the california photos, both teeming with wildlife. Here goes:

April 16-Apex,NC-Easter with Amanda and the Family (53)
For Easter, Dallas, My Parents, and I headed up to Apex, NC to visit my niece (Amanda Panda!) and her parents, Suzanne and Jeremy, my brother. Here’s some of the best photos from there.

May 19-Abilene,TX-Chris and Randi Rehearsal Dinner (47)
Rehearsal Dinner photos for Chris & Randi’s Wedding

May 20-Abiline,TX-Chris and Randi-Ceremony and Reception (133)
Ceremony photos for Chris & Randi’s wedding. There were real photographers there, so I only took photos when they weren’t around.

May 20-Abiline,TX-Chris and Randi-Post-Ceremony (22)
Photos from the casual dinner we had after the real reception.

June 14-Monterey,CA-Two Weeks in California (31)
I went to Cali for two weeks for work. Most of the time was spent in my office and hotel, but I did get a chance to go out to eat occassionally and take a side trip to visit my friend Alex in Monterey, CA. Got some nice Sea lion and seagull shots.

June 23-Atlanta,GA-Atlanta Pride Festival Opening (38)
Dallas and I volunteered through our church to raise money for the Atlanta Pride Festival. While we were there collecting money, the main stage fell down and the festivities closed for the evening. Here are a few photos from the event.

June 24-Monroe,GA-Hanging out at Chez David (18)
David (Noah) Stein invited Dallas and I to come hang out at his house for a BBQ. I didn’t take very many photos since I didn’t know most of the folks there, but here’s an assorted collection. I forgot many of their names, and need to get these filled in.

June 24-Roswell,GA-Trying on the Hit Air MX Jacket-Size XL (10)
I bought a Hit-Air Air MX Air Bag Jacket from Bikebone, but had to order it in Size XL for my height (just 6’0″). Sadly, it was just too bulky on me to deal with. Here’s some photos of it though. Check out how bulky the CO2 Canister for inflation is on the left side of the jacket when seen on the profile shots.
