I felt like one heck of a geek tonight at dinner with some of my coworkers. I was talking about moose hazards while driving in Northern Sweden, and said “If you get eight hundred pounds of moose in your lap, it might just dash nine you”. What impressed me most though was that everyone at the table completely understood what I meant, even if it was extra super geeky of me. It was one of those “You know you’re working for the right company if…” kind of moments. Read about dash nine if you are still confused. 
Fun Fact: According to Figuring Sweden’s Safety Obsession, moose-car collisions occur on average 10 times a day in Sweden. While that may seem like a lot, the United States appears to have 1.5 million deer-car collisions a year, or roughly 4100 a day on average.
